The Missions - Jesus of Tavarangue Jesuit Guarani Mission

We visited two mission ruin sites. The second was the Jesus of Tavarangue Mission. This site wasn't as large as "Trinidad," but was impressive in its own right, as it seemed to be in better shape.

You can get an idea of just how BIG this is - Our friends are the tiny specks in the middle of the image.

This is a taxi. It was definitely a step up from the "moto-taxi's" we saw skittering between Cuidad del Este and Foz de Iguazu. Those were downright scary!

The fine sands making up the shore of the Piranha River in Encarnacion, Paraguay. Across the river - Argentina.

A dental office - really!
